Red Dog, SMB Light, and the City of Pinesquite a good combination if you ask me. :D after 6 years, i, along with my family and some of my dad's friends and thier families (barkada trip?! haha), returned to Bagiuo for the weekend for a much needed break. this year, there weren't any sightseeing trips, just some good old-fashioned RnR... and maybe some trips to SM Bagiuo for shopping... hehe (what?! it was sale... how could a girl like me resist? ;D)
i had a pretty good time despite the colds i had and the dreary weather (it was usually raining in evening). i met new friends (like the director of Stonefree's last two videos!!! shit! kickass cool! haha) and played cards (Red Dog is damn fun when you have toothpicks to bet on... hahaha) most of the time. at tito Bonbon's place, we roasted some marshmallows in his fireplace and made some s'mores and had beer. haha on our last day, everyone met up at tito Mark's place to go horseback riding in the afternoon and do some catching-up in the evening.
ang sarap mag-horseback! well, that is until my horse went wild. haha the one that Mia was riding kicked my horse and then they started kicking each other. i freaked-out! haha that was scary... but after awhile, i started riding again. Diego, the son of tito Mark, is a psycho... haha kidding! but he was hilarious! kept nudging everyone to join him outside to go ghost hunting. not a shabby suggestion since it was Halloween, foggy, and their place was damn creepy. its actually haunted by a kid and an old lady... or so they say. ;D
i would have to say that that was one of the best weekends i've had!
Crap!yes, the perfect adjective for UA&P's online enlistment system.
i had to wake-up at 5:30 in the morning last wednesday just so i could enlist myself early and get the sched that i wanted. crappy system! kept having errors... after about an hour (and much praying that it won't have any syntax errors again), i was able to finalize everything. i had to help out four other people cause theirs wouldn't work. it turns out, only those that had DSL were able to fix everything well. brighter side of things, i was able to get the profs and the sched that i wanted. there wasn't any Math class so i still had to add that subject the next day during the on-campus enlistment.
once more people... with more passion...
Crap!yes, another perfect adjective for their on-campus enlistment system.
we supposedly had priority numbers, mine being 296. it was a good thing i called Mars at around 9 and she quickly told me that i had to get to school right away because it was now first come first served! i rushed and got to school at 10, and finished everything by 5 in the afternoon. damn... it was a good thing i ate a heavy breakfast. Ayo, Tina and I all had shawarma rice after the long day. Shawarma rice never tasted that good... haha (don't worry, i brushed my teeth when i got home ;D)
"I can't wait til my pappy kicks your..."Zorro. haha pretty good movie. nice way to end they day. i went to Rockwell with the fam last night and bought a new book, yey! i loved Cecilia Ahern's "P.S. I Love You" that i dcecided to get her second novel, "Rosie Dunne" (in the UK, "Where Rainbows End"), a story about Rosie and Alex, best friends since they were kids that are destined for each other but have to face several challenges before they can live "happily ever after." yes, another cheesy, love story. but a dash of romance once in awhile won't hurt. ;D
_-~**~_+_~**~-_
til the next entry my friends... i'm off to the land of balls... Rockwell's bowling alley, Powerbowl.
yuck.. i really do suck at jokes... hahaha
