A-L-I-V-E! how long has it been?! (wait... lemme check... ) aaaccckkk!! almost
three months! hahaha wunderbar! well... a lot has happened since the last time i blogged. so a word of caution to all:
LONG ENTRY teehee
Graduation Day March 30, 2005
it's over, it's officially over! i am a certified high
school graduate! hahaha i think i expected too much from graduation day. during practices i always tought that while
walking up the stage i would be crying, check that, more like making
hagulgol. i really thought it was going to be extremely emotional considering we, as Judenites, have always waited for the day we would be able to escape H.E.L.L. hahaha but there weren't a lot of tears
shed that day. it was even while singing the chinese graduation song that i cried. actually, most of us did cry during the chinese song, maybe it was the thought that that would be our final chinese song, our final chinese anything in
school. it was bittersweet come to think of it. haha funny, never thought that would happen. i guess we were just all so happy and relieved that it was all finally done with. and that we all knew that we would still be able to see each other again, not that often anymore but still. the things
technology will make you think, haha. Friendster, text and email does make the world an even smaller place. hehe (i hope you get the connection)
i will surely miss my batchmates. i spent 13 years of my life with them , how could i not?! and H.E.L.L. (Haven for Education, Love and Learning)? well, it will always have a special place in my heart. Saint Jude Catholic
School has transformed me into the person that i am today, and i will never trade that for anything else.
Workshops @ ABS-CBN
April '05 (Batch 1)
I grew up at Workshops. eversince i was 11 i've been taking classes there.
it all st
arted with their summer camp at Ateneo with me taking up
Art Classes. after that, it was basic streetdance for two years with my mentors Sir Jerome & Sir JM. i became active again this summer and i'm i glad i did.
i took intermediate streetdance with sir jerome. i missed my mentors so much... haha i met new friends and i developed my people skills. i was given the chance to join the opening number once again and it was such a honor. i was surprised that Sir RJ still new me, haha
anyhoo... opening number... grabe, i met so many new friends there. saya! hehehe
May '05 (Batch 2)
I, along with my bro, was given the chance by Ma'm Bev to work as a training assistant for the workshops. Summer job! Weeee!!! hahaha And a job that i really love to do. imagine, i get paid and still get to participate in the workshops! I was assigned to workshops that i wasnt exactly very excited about 'cause well... hehe For the people who know me, i'm not exactly the most girly girl in whole universe. I get along with boys more often than girls. hahaha But not to be misled, i'm still "truly madly crazily in love" with Brent Javier, hahaha! My mornings would be streetdance kids with my brother, and my afternoons would either be modeling or imaging. I know, they're trying to transform me into a girl for good, haha! But you know what? I don't regret having to be given those classes. The classes helped me so much in building my confidence and i guess it was also time for me to try out something other than my usual performing arts. Imaging was quite interesting actually. I got to try on colored contact lenses! It was kinda hard trying them on at first, but after a few tries, i was able to "see the world in a whole new perspective". :D
I got to be part of the opening number again, and now i was part of the screening team too, hahaha On the day of the auditions, i was surprised to see two workshoppers that were part of the opening number last april. They were there to help in the auditions, hahaha naks naman! asenso! Their names? Lance and Shaw (ahem...Sir Shaw! hahaha).
We became pretty close, and to think that last april we weren't even on speaking terms, we just knew each other's faces and names, hahaha Just to prove that "its a small world after all" (teehee), i met some new friends that were related to some people that i already knew!
ex: Razy and Roselyn Estella ->> cousins of Royce Estella, my batchmate and friend
Jerene and Jenica Tan ->> cousins of Kaye Tan, fellow Judenite, and my bestfriend JJ
my coworkers (naks!) or fellow TA's were really nice to us even if we were just new and were never oriented properly. They helped us with stuff that we weren't quite familiar with and gave us a few pointers so that wouldn't be "guidanced" (hahaha, ate tin! ;P). Our bosses (Ma'm Bev, Sir JV, Sir Oz & Sir RJ) were really nice!
